    Editorial and Publishing Department (publishing house)

    The editorial and publishing department of Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics was organized in 1999. In the same year, after obtaining a publishing license, the department received the status of a publishing house.

    To date, the publishing house has modern printing equipment, which allows you to promptly print educational and scientific literature of various degrees of complexity, including monographs, textbooks and manuals, proceedings of scientific and practical conferences and the scientific journal Bulletin of the Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics.

    The editor–in-chief of the scientific journal "Bulletin of the Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics" is Sergey Yuryevich Avakov.

    S.Y.Avakov is the Rector of Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics, Doctor of Economics, Professor, Honored Worker of Higher Education of the Russian Federation, Honorary worker of higher professional education in the Russian Federation, academician of the Russian Academy of Natural Sciences, member of the Union of Rectors of Russia, honorary citizen of Taganrog, has been working in the system of higher professional education for more than 40 years.

    He is the author of more than 200 educational publications and scientific papers. His research interests include the problems of formalization and modeling of economic systems, functional processes and their regulation.

  • Submission and reviewing manuscripts

    SUBMISSION AND REVIEWING MANUSCRIPTS

     

    The author must submit the necessary materials: the manuscript of the article and accompanying documents (document templates are located on the institute’s website):

    • Consent of the subject of personal data to the processing of personal data;
    • License agreement on granting the right to use the manuscript on a non-exclusive basis (non-exclusive license).

    NB.The manuscripts of undergraduate students are not accepted (with the exception of thematic issues in which the best reports of the scientific conference are published, recommended for publication in the journal by the decision of the organizing committee).

    The manuscripts of Master’s program students and postgraduates are accepted for consideration only if there is a brief review from the supervisor with a recommendation for publication of the article.

    The manuscript of the article is submitted to the editorial board in electronic form at: g.topoleva@tmei.ru  The accompanying documents are submitted to the editorial board in hard copy at the address: 347900, Taganrog, Petrovskaya str., 45, Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics.

    The author submitting the article to the journal "Bulletin of the Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics" thereby expresses his consent to its publication in the journal, publication in open access on the journal's website and in electronic scientific libraries on the Internet, to transfer the text of the article (including links, bibliographic information, etc.) to persons, presentation to whom this information is mandatory, or to other persons in order to ensure the possibility of quoting the publication.

    The materials submitted to the editorial office are sent for review for the purpose of their expert evaluation. The manuscript undergoes a "double-blind" review: the article is sent to reviewers without specifying the author's surname and information about him, the review is sent to the author of the article without specifying the names of the reviewers and information about them. The review period is usually 4-6 weeks. All reviewers are qualified specialists in the subject of the reviewed materials.

    The reviewer evaluates the relevance, scientific novelty of the research results submitted for publication, their theoretical and practical significance, determines ways to possibly improve the future printed text in the interests of the reader. Based on the analysis of the article, the reviewer draws a conclusion:

    1. a) the article is recommended for publication;
    2. b) the article needs to be finalized in accordance with the comments of the reviewer;
    3. c) the article is rejected (indicating the reasons).

    The text of the reviews is sent to the author of the reviewed article by e-mail.

    If the reviews contain recommendations for finalizing the article, the editorial board of the journal suggests taking them into account when preparing a new version of the article or reasonably rejecting them. The article revised by the author is reviewed by the editorial board, if necessary, it is re-sent for review.

    The final decision on publication is made by the editorial board based on the recommendations of the reviewers, the scientific value of the work and its relevance to the subject of the journal. The article rejected by the editorial board is not accepted for reconsideration. List of violations of publication ethics that are grounds for rejection of the manuscript:

    - lack of references to the cited literature;

    - duplication of the material (self plagiarism: publication of the material or a significant part of it in other publications);

    - absence or unreliability of conclusions;

    - plagiarism;

    - falsification of data.

    The editorial board sends the authors of the submitted materials copies of the reviews and/or a reasoned refusal to publish the submitted materials. The reviews are kept in the editorial board of the journal and in the publishing house for 5 years. The editorial board of the journal undertakes, upon receipt of a corresponding request, to send copies of the reviews to the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation.

    The editorial board reserves the right not to review articles that are not designed according to the rules. Publication in the journal is carried out on a reimbursable basis, approved by the order of the rector of the TIUE. The publication fee is indicated on the website.

     

    MANUSCRIPTS REQUIREMENTS

     

    Materials are sent to the editorial board on the recommendations of the relevant institutions, as well as on their own initiative and must be original and previously unpublished. All persons who have reasonable rights to co-author the article should be listed as co-authors.

    If there is text or graphic information from previously published research by the author or from the work of another researcher, it is necessary to refer to the relevant publications. The presence of a loan text without a reference will be considered by the editorial board as plagiarism. Excessive borrowings, as well as plagiarism in any form, including paraphrasing, are unacceptable. In order to prevent possible infringement of intellectual property and copyrights, authors are recommended to use systems (software) that identify plagiarism. In the article, it is necessary to observe factual and historical accuracy, academic style of writing.

    The submitted manuscript should not be sent for publication to another journal and be under consideration there. Articles, fully or partially, already published in other journals or conference proceedings are not allowed to be published.

    The authors must respond promptly, correctly and substantially to the reviews of reviewers and editorial staff, to comments and recommendations that arise at the stage of text editing and preparation.

     

    Manuscripts should be carefully verified and edited by the authors, the material structured, presented clearly and consistently.

    The order of the article elements:

    1. UDC.
    2. Information about the authors: surname, first name, patronymic (in full), academic degree, academic title, position; honorary title, place of work (studies for Master’s programs and postgraduate students), e-mail addresses. By specifying his email address in the article, the author, who is in correspondence with the editorial board, agrees to its publication in the public domain.
    3. The title of the scientific article (no more than 13 words).
    4. Abstract (100-200 words). The abstract should be structured and include the purpose, research methods, research results, scientific novelty and practical significance.
    5. Keywords. When choosing keywords, the main criterion is their potential value for expressing the content of a document or for searching for it. Keywords can be words, terminological phrases, abbreviations, numerical characteristics, chronological data, proper names, symbolic designations. The optimal number of keywords is from five to nine, they are separated from each other with a comma. Don't put a period after the keywords.
    6. Acknowledgements. People, funding organizations, grants, etc. The names of funding organizations should be written in full.
    7. The text of the article should be structured as follows: introduction, materials and methods of research, analysis of scientific literature on the topic/ theoretical/computational part, research results, questions for discussion, conclusion.
    8. References.

     

    Articles in the journal "Bulletin of the Taganrog Institute of Management and Economics" should be submitted in accordance with GOST R 7.0.7-2021 "System of standards for information, library and publishing. Articles in journals and collections. Publishing design".

    The text of the article in Russian is submitted in electronic form (MS Word editor, *.rtf format) on a USB Flash drive or by e-mail. The file name is the surname of the first author of the article.

    The volume of the article should not exceed 16 pages of typewritten text (together with tables, a list of sources (no more than 15 names) and figures) (20-40 thousand characters, including spaces).

    Page parameters: paper size – A4 (29.7x21 cm); all page margins are 2 cm.

    The pages are numbered in the center of the sheet at the bottom.

    The Times New Roman font is used as standard, the use of other fonts is unacceptable; the font size of the text is 12 pt.

    The line spacing is one and a half in the entire text of the article.

    Text alignment – in width, paragraph indentation – 5 mm – is applied using the built-in MS Word options. The use of spaces and tabs to align text and indent a paragraph is unacceptable.

    All abbreviations and abbreviations must be deciphered the first time they are mentioned in the text.

    In the text of the article, tables, figures and formulas, do not underline words, do not highlight the text and the text space in color.

    To write formulas, use only the Equation formula editor built into MS Office. Large formulas need to be split into several lines. When typing formulas, the following sizes should be found: text – 12 pt, large index – 10 pt, small index – 8 pt, large symbol – 13 pt, small symbol – 11 pt. It is allowed and encouraged to write simple formulas using a unified system for writing mathematical formulas without using Equation.

    Example:              corresponds to x=2/.

    The necessary qualities of illustrations are clarity, graphic expressiveness, clarity and clarity. Careless drawings are unacceptable. It is strongly not recommended to illustrate the text of the article using the "Drawing" option in MS Word. References to figures and tables in the text are required.

    Files of drawings, illustrations, diagrams and graphs should be placed in the "Drawings" folder in the format *.wmf, *.gif, *.pcx, *.tif, *.jpg (300 dpi) of the Corel Draw *.cdr graphic editor (up to version X4) or embedded in the text of the article.

    Tables are entered using the built-in tools for creating MS Word tables.

    Headings, subheadings, captions to figures and tables are required and are centered without indentation of the paragraph.

    The numbering of figures, formulas and tables is continuous.  

    The references list is drawn up in strict accordance with the current GOST R 7.0.100–2018 "Bibliographic record. Bibliographic description. General requirements and rules of compilation". In the text, references to literature and sources are placed in square brackets as follows: The text of the article ... [1, p.256]. The use of automatic page-by-page footnotes to the literature and sources used is not allowed. The list of sources indicates only those publications that are referenced in the article (no more than 15 titles).

     

    REFERENCES REQUIREMENTS

    The bibliographic apparatus of a scientific article is evaluated by the quality of the cited sources. The main requirements for the sources that are given in the work are their compliance with the research topic and credibility. For scientific articles, the most authoritative are the latest articles and monographs (including foreign ones) published in high ranked journals by authors with scientific qualifications.

    The list of sources is compiled in the order of their citation in the article. The list should not contain sources that are not mentioned in the text of the article. Pages are a mandatory element in the bibliographic description of the source. If the link is to a separate publication (for example, a monograph), then the total number of pages (for example, 345 pages) is indicated; if a link is provided to an article in the journal, then the initial and final pages on which this article is located are indicated (for example, pp. 17-19).

    References are made according to GOST R 7.0.5-2008 "Bibliographic reference".

    It is not accepted in the journal to refer to textbooks and textbooks, except for the fundamental ones in their field, to dissertations and abstracts of dissertations. At least one third of the sources on the list should have been published in the last 3-5 years. Self-citation should not make up more than 20% of the list.

    If the cited source has a DOI, then the DOI is necessarily given at the end of the bibliographic description of this source. All DOIs must be working links.
